Dual Nationality

Any Venezuelan citizen who has another nationality may use it to leave the national territory by complying with the procedure established by the authorities of the Administrative Service of Identification, Migration and Foreigners (SAIME).

Documents to be presented at the time of travel:

Valid and valid passport.

Identity card.

Permission from the Coordination of Aquatic and Aerial Border Affairs, Migration Office.

Documents to be presented at the SAIME office to request permission to leave the national territory with a passport of another nationality:

Valid and valid Venezuelan passport is required.

Valid and valid passport of your second nationality.

Identity card.

Birth certificate (boy or girl under 9 years old).

Electronic airline ticket.

Travel authorization of the child or adolescent, or other document that allows his or her departure, depending on the particular case and the provisions of the corresponding legislation.

When your second nationality is a country that does NOT benefit from the suppression of the consular visa requirement in an ordinary passport, you are allowed to enter the national territory without the aforementioned requirement, since no consular authority may grant a tourist visa to a Venezuelan national.

Foreigners with temporary migrant status

Ordinary nationality passport

Valid transient visa (if expired, it cannot be more than 30 days).

Identity card for foreigners, all foreigners with temporary migrant status who have left the country with an expired visa upon presentation of a renewal certificate (re-entry and extension) issued by the SAIME foreigners office, and whose stay abroad is longer than 90 days, must apply for the corresponding visa, if applicable, for their entry into Venezuelan territory.

Foreigner with permanent resident migrant status

Valid passport of native nationality.

Valid transit visa (if expired, it must not be older than 06 months).

Identity card for foreigners.

All foreigners permanent migrants in Venezuela, who have been outside the national territory for more than 02 years and whose visa is in force, are allowed to enter the country, being at the discretion of the foreigner's department the recognition of their status.

In case of being a national of a country that does NOT enjoy the benefit of visa waiver for non-migrants (tourists) in ordinary passports, you must apply for a re-entry visa at the Venezuelan consular representation in your country of origin.

Foreign with non -migrant category (tourists)

Valid and current passport for a minimum period of 06 months.

Travel document accepted on domestic flights (Resolution issued by SAIME November 04, 2022)

All Venezuelan citizens who need to travel by air within the national territory must present their identity card as their main personal identification document, whether it is valid or expired. It is not allowed for domestic travel to identify oneself with a passport, copy of identity card, proof of lost documents, complaints, driver's license or institutional license. Such action is stipulated in Article 16 of the Organic Law of Identification.

Those Venezuelan passengers who enter the country on international flights with passports but have domestic flights in connection with other cities other than the one of their arrival to the country and who at the time of their arrival do not have an identity card, may arrive at their final destination and then carry out the corresponding procedures for the issuance or renewal of the identity card.

In the case of foreigners who present a condition of permanence, they must present their laminated identity card (valid or expired). If they are tourists, they must have a valid passport.

Important Information: All passengers wishing to enter the Venezuelan Territory through our international routes, must have a valid and valid passport for the purchase of the ticket. It is important to note that Travel Documents to Venezuela (laissez-passer) will not be accepted as valid documents for entry into the country. Passengers coming from MERCOSUR countries may enter Venezuelan territory with a valid identity card.

IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER VENEZUELA

All foreign passports must be valid for a minimum of ninety (90) years from the moment of arrival to Venezuelan territory.
The maximum time of stay as a tourist in Venezuelan territory is ninety (90) days, tickets may only be sold up to the established time.
All passengers connecting from the international airport must have a maximum transit time of 24 hours in the sterile zone to continue to their final destination.
The following nationalities need to have a visa to enter Venezuelan territory, such document must be valid at the time of entry: China, Dominican Republic, Syria, Lebanon, Nigeria, Panama, USA, Honduras, Haiti, Ukraine, El Salvador, Guatemala, Chile, Peru, and Middle East countries, among others.
Every foreign citizen must present to the immigration authorities a notarized letter of invitation or, failing that, a hotel reservation or place of stay in Venezuelan territory..
A non-immigrant VISA EXCEPTION is granted for a period of up to ninety (90) days to NATIONAL CITIZENS OF THE STATE OF CATAR WHO WISH TO ENTER THE TERRITORY OF THE BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA for recreational purposes, health or activities that do not involve remuneration or denote an intention to establish a permanent residence.

Entry to the country

Travelers must complete the online immigration and customs form, which will be available 72 hours prior to arrival in Barbados.
Complete the form at a time and place that is convenient for you.
Once the form is completed, Immigration and Customs receipts should be saved on your mobile device or printed and presented to Immigration and Customs upon arrival.
In the case of Venezuelan Citizens, no entry visa is required, and they may stay in Barbados for up to 28 days.
Passport valid for the duration of your trip.
Return ticket to the country of residence.
Intended address.
Evidence of personal support.
A child under eighteen (18) traveling without a parent/guardian must have a letter of authorization from the parent/guardian.

Persons wishing to travel to Barbados and requiring a visa must first submit a visa application and receive permission to travel to Barbados BEFORE booking and confirming travel.
ENTRY VISA IS A PREREQUISITE, HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT GUARANTEE ENTRY. PERMISSION TO ENTER IS GRANTED ONLY BY THE IMMIGRATION OFFICER AT THE PORT OF ENTRY.

Cuba-Nicaragua:

Provision No. 001-2026

Change of visa immigration classification for national citizens of the Republic of Cuba, holders of ordinary passports

The Ministry of the Interior through the General Directorate of Migration and Immigration, the Institution responsible for applying the migration policies of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua.

The State of Nicaragua is sovereign to establish the migratory visa categories for the entry of citizens of other nationalities, as well as regulate their entry, exit and stay in the national territory.

Therefore

FIRST: As of today, all national citizens of the Republic of Cuba with ordinary passports changed their immigration category from "A", visa-free, to Category "C", visa consulted at no cost.

SECOND: Inform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua of this provision so that, through the Foreign Ministry, the Consular Representation of the Republic of Cuba in Nicaragua and our consular offices abroad are notified.

THIRD: Notify the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics of the content of this provision, so that in coordination with the General Directorate of Immigration and Immigration, it can be made known to the air transport lines for its immediate application.

Entry to the country

The maximum length of stay of a tourist is 30 days and can be extended up to 90 days.
All passengers entering Cuba must have a tourist visa valid for a single entry to the territory of Cuba.
Economic solvency that supports the number of days of stay in the country.
Round trip ticket.
Invitation letter or hotel reservation.
Cuban citizens who do not have a valid passport extension may enter their country only if they have a valid identity card.
All passengers must digitally fill out the health form to enter Cuba, seven (07) days before the departure of the flight, which is available in the following link: www.dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu
Vaccination against yellow fever is required if arriving from Angola, Brazil or Congo (Dominican Republic).
All passengers who present Diplomatic, Official and service passports will be exempt from presenting an extension.
Passengers wishing to purchase a one-way international flight must be a resident of the destination country with temporary or permanent residence.

Entry to the country

Valid passport during the stay in Mexican territory.
Venezuelan service passport requires a visa.
Maximum stay allowed for Venezuelan citizens is one hundred and eighty (180) days.
As of 01/21/2022, Venezuelans must present a VISITOR'S VISA WITHOUT PERMIT TO CARRY OUT REMUNERATED ACTIVITIES, authorized by the MEXICAN Consulate (STAMPED ON ORDINARY PASSPORTS), for information on the procedure, go to the Consular Office.
Economic solvency in that country.
Round trip ticket.
Invitation letter or hotel reservation.
Countries that require Visa to enter Mexican territory: El Salvador, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Cuba, Nicaragua, Peru (as of 04-20-24) and Venezuela (see list of countries with visa requirements)..

Passengers visiting or residing in countries with active yellow fever outbreaks (Brazil, and countries of the African continent) are advised to present the certificate at the time of their trip, it must have a minimum incubation period of 10 days prior to entering Mexican territory.
Passengers wishing to purchase a one-way ticket on an international flight must be PERMANENT RESIDENTS in the country of destination. In case their final destination is Mexico, they can be PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY RESIDENTS (PROVIDE VALID DOCUMENTS).
Passengers with Mexican nationality must present a valid passport regardless of its validity or a document that proves their nationality (Birth Certificate - naturalization letter - Official ID (INE) or voting card).

Documents or formats that the passenger must present at the time of reaching the United Mexican States (the formats are delivered during the flight)

Customs declaration.
Declaration of currencies, in case of exceeding ten thousand dollars (USD $ 10,000).

NOTE: Colombian citizens do not require a visa to travel to Mexico for tourism, business, studies or transit, as long as the stay is less than 180 days. In these cases, they will enter the country as visitors without permission to carry out remunerated activities.
IMPORTANT: As of April 1, 2022, all Colombian citizens entering Mexico by air must complete a pre-registration of their trip, which is mandatory..

NOTE: Exceptions to the visa for entry to the United Mexican States:

People with valid and valid visa of the United States, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, or any country of the Schengen space: (multiple entries).
